As a conscientious local elected representative or landowner, you consider it important for the local community to accept your project. By giving everyone the opportunity to invest in it, you enable them to participate in its success and see the project from a different angle.

This is the ideal type of local investment: the production of pure, environment-friendly energy, without any CO2 emissions.

 

What Eolfi can do for you:

• Examine your project. We can help you identify possible locations, based on the wind atlas and check that there is no existing impediment to the project (military air corridor, weather radar, bird route, houses nearby, etc.)
• Validate the project's feasibility with our partners:
  • Recommend precise wind studies to be carried out by specialised consultants approved by the banks
  • Evaluate the proximity of the local power grid and its capacity to absorb your production
  • Install measuring masts to gauge the amount of wind
  • Identify the best turbines for the site
  • Assess the general site preparation and installation costs
  • Obtain EDF's Technical and Financial Proposal (PTF) concerning the cost of connection to the grid
  • Set up an operating account
• Help you with legal aspects:
  • Set up a company (simplified joint-stock company or limited liability company) and register it
  • Apply for a building permit, in collaboration with a developer
• Obtain the 27 required authorisations (Architecte des Bâtiments de France, DDE, Météo France, Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile, Ministry of Defence, etc.):
  • Ensure management of the land (e.g. 40-year emphyteutic lease)
  • Sign the contract with EDF
  • Sign contracts with turbine manufacturers
• Set up your financial structure
• Build the wind turbines:
  • Civil engineering and electrical engineering
  • Foundations, raising, connection to the grid
  • Test period: industrial commissioning
  • Final commissioning
