EOLFI is an independent, end-to-end specialist of wind power
Established in France, Poland and Taiwan, EOLFI is active in businesses covering the whole value chain of renewable energies:
- EOLFI Development, pioneer in onshore, floating offshore and solar projects development
- EAM, French registered investment fund management company that created the first wind and solar power infrastructures
- EOLFI Technologies:
» SPINFLOAT, a floating vertical axis offshore wind turbine
» BLIDAR, a metocean data measurement buoy
» STATIONIS, a decision support software for the bottom-surface linking (anchoring and electrical system) of a floating wind farm,
» AGNES, a designer and project developer in the field of underwater compressed air energy storage (UW-CAES)
Until 2013, EOLFI was the wind subsidiary of VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT group. Since its independence, its business strategy has been focusing on marine renewable energies.
Created in 2005, the Mediterranée Marine Competitivity Centre has the ambition of becoming a global reference for the mastering of sustainable development, marine security and safety in the Mediterranean.
The cluster Capenergies brings together more than 400 members working on projects to innovate and create opportunities to boost the energy industry's economic growth in the following regions: Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Corsica, Guadeloupe, Reunion and Monaco.
Vision: Dispatchable Offshore Renewables
Convert an intermittent energy into peak power
EOLFI sees offshore energy as the main wind power growth part on a long term scale, as long as it covers two stakes: foundations constraints and intermittency.
The group already registered patents in France and internationally and created new technology activities :
- SPINFLOAT: a new floating vertical axis offshore wind turbine.
- BLIDAR: a metocean data measurement buoy
- AGNES: Underwater Compressed Air Energy Storage (UW-CAES) solution.
EOLFI's main goal is to impel technology in both activities and hold the best expertise in offshore wind power and energy storage.
Man and the Sea
Free man, you will always cherish the sea!
The sea is your mirror; you contemplate your soul
In the infinite unrolling of its billows;
Your mind is an abyss that is no less bitter. [...]
