A consortium consisting of Shell with EOLFI, EnBW with Valeco and Banque des Territoires has been pre-selected by the Commission de Régulation de l'Energie (CRE) on 15 September 2021 to respond to the call for tender for floating wind farm in the south of Brittany (A05).

Shell agrees to acquire EOLFI, boosting its floating wind capabilities and expanding its renewable power business

Shell has signed an agreement to buy 100% of EOLFI, a French renewable energies developer specialised in floating wind projects. The acquisition is subject to regulatory and ministerial approvals and is expected to complete in Dec 2019.

EOLFI, a French developer specialised in floating wind projects, and Cobra Concesiones, a Spanish industrial company wholly-owned by ACS, have formed a partnership in Taiwan: on December 21, 2017, Cobra Concesiones finalised its shareholding in Eolfi Greater China, a subsidiary of EOLFI which has been active in Taiwan since 2012.
